Established in 2019, Sipi Hills Coffee Limited initially focused on roasting of Bugisu Arabica washed coffees for sale on both the domestic and international markets. The company has significantly grown and expanded its services to include export of high quality green Arabica and Robusta coffees. The company is committed to sustainable farming practices and is working closely with farmers on Mt.Elgon to acquire an Organic certificate for Bugisu Arabica Coffee by the close of 2021.

Robusta Coffee (Coffea canephora): Grown commercially since the early 1920’s, Robusta coffee is grown in the low altitude areas of Uganda ranging from 900m to 1500m above sea level and accounts for 80% of Uganda’s coffee production. Arabica Coffee (Coffea arabica): On Mountain Elgon grows favourably in the warm, temperate environments at altitudes between 1500 and 2200m and accounts for 20% of Uganda’s coffee production. Prior to founding Sipi Hills Coffee, Nasser worked as the Investor Representative for an American based Impact Investment company where he gained experience and interest in Specialty Coffee. In 2019 he decided to bring his entrepreneurial skills and past career experience in Sales and Marketing to build Sipi Hills Coffee. When he is not putting together your favorite coffees, you will find him watching Sports on TV or spending time with close friends & family.
